Raspberry Chia Jam

Honestly, I think this is the best jam I have ever tasted. It tastes so natural, so fruity and absolutely amazing. I eat it on wholemeal rye bread, homemade spelt bread rolls, banana bread, pancakes or even add it to my porridge. I can’t get enough of it and that’s not even a problem, as it’s not unhealthy at all and is prepared so quickly, it literally takes a few minutes. So, what are you still waiting for?

Makes 1 small jar (140ml):

1 small cup of raspberries (fresh or frozen)

2 tablespoons of chia seeds

1 teaspoon of honey (or a bit more if you like it sweeter)

Method:

Slightly heat raspberries, chia seeds and honey in a saucepan on low temperature. Stir from time to time and make sure not to let it burn. Once raspberries are nicely soft, stir well and mash remaining pieces of raspberries. Transfer to an air-tight jar and store in the fridge for 1-2 weeks.

      Bisher war die Marmelade immer so schnell aufgegessen, dass ich es nicht genau sagen kann. Sie hält sich aber sicher 1-2 Wochen im Kühlschrank. Ich mache immer nur 1 Glas, das ist innerhalb einer Woche leer. Erst dann kommt eine neue Portion! Hoffe, das hilft weiter :-)

      That’s hard to say, as this jam is normally gone very quickly. I think it can be stored in the fridge for at least 1 or 2 weeks. I only prepare one jar at a time, which is gone within a week. I’ld make a new one when the other jar is empty. Hope that helps! :-)
