Sundays are for long breakfasts and delicious smoothies! This is one of my favourite smoothies for summer. It’s really sweet, containing juicy fruits making you feel vital. Although it’s banana free, which is quite nice sometimes, it’s really creamy. If you want this smoothie to be more filling, add oats, seeds or plant protein powder. You could even add a banana, but I think this smoothie doesn’t really need it. One other nice thing about this smoothie is that it doesn’t contain many ingredients. You don’t need to have a lot of stuff at home but still enjoy a really delicious, fuelling and pretty drink!
1/2 a ripe mango
2 handful of berries
3/4 of a glass of water or plant-milk (I only use my homemade versions)
1 tablespoon of chia seeds
1 tablespoon of flaxseeds
1 tablespoon of hemp protein powder
Cut fruits and put into a blender. Add seeds and protein powder if you want to use them. Add water or plant-milk and blend until creamy. This will take about 2 minutes. Add some more water or plant-milk if you want your smoothie to be runnier. Transfer to glasses or bowls, top with some berries and serve!
